Cannonball Adderley

Fun Facts Cannonball was born on September 15th 1928 In Tampa Florida He wanted to play the Tenor sax but money and instruments were scarce in the 2nd world war. He attended Florida A&M University He Taught high school at Fort Lauderdale Florida

Things He did in his life He played in the Navy Jazz band and lived in Washington DC for a while. He later moved to New York City where he would go into graduate studies at the collage of New York University

How he died Cannonball struggled With diabetes his hole life and on the day of August 8th 1975 he succumbed to a stroke and died. He was one of the few great Jazz musicians that lived a good long life and didn’t die early.
