Density Practice Problems A rectangular solid with a length of 3 cm, a width of 4 cm, and a height of 6 cm has a mass of 45 g. What is its density? A cube with length 2 cm has a density of 3 g/cm^3. What is its mass? An irregularly shaped rock is placed into a graduated cylinder which has a volume of 65 mL. The water level in the graduated cylinder rises to 76 mL. The mass of the rock is 100 g. What is its density? Draw a picture of the displacement method being used to find the volume of the solid.
