CLYDE IN THE CLASSROOM BY P5 LOGANS PRIMARY

GETTING OUR EGGS!! TEMPERATURE. US CHEKING THE TEMPERATURE WITH DAVY. TROUT EGGS YAY!! THIS IS THEM IN THE BAG AND GOING INTO THE TANK. TURKEY BASTER TESTING. THIS IS US LEARNING HOW TO USE THE TURKEY BASTER.

ALEVINS!! TURNING INTO ALEVINS WE GOT 200 BROWN TROUT EGGS AND WE HATCHED THEM INTO LITTLE ALEVINS WITH A YOLK SAC ON THEIR BELLY TO EAT. ALEVINS OUR ALEVINS WERE VERY SMALL. WE WERE VERY HAPPY THAT THEY HAD ALL HATCHED INTO ALEVINS!! TOM AND JERRY WE HAD A FISH THAT HAD TWO HEADS AND THEY WERE CALLED TOM AND JERRY.

DAY RELEASE FISH BAGGING DAVY AND HEATHER CAME TO OUR SCHOOL TO BAG THE FISH FOR US. READY TO RELEASE OUR FISH WE WERE ALL SAD TO SEE THE FISH GO INTO THE RIVER CLYDE. RELEASING OUR FISHES THIS IS A PICTURE OF AMY AND MORGAN RELEASING THE FISH.

LETTING THE ALEVINS GO THIS IS A PICTURE OF US LETTING THE ALEVINS GO WHEN WE WERE AT THE RIVER CLYDE IT LOOKED LIKE THE WATER WAS HIGH AND WHEN WE WERE PUTTING THEM IN THEY LOOKED CAMOUFLAGED. FIRST DAY AT HOME THE FISH WERE RELEASED IN THE WATER AND TOOK TO THEIR NEW HOME SWIMMINGLY. THIS IS TOM AND JERRY THIS IS TOM AND JERRY BEING RELEASED INTO THE CLYDE.WE HOPE THEY SURVIVE.

BYE WE WERE VERY SAD AND LONELY THAT WE LET OUR BEST FRIENDS GO !! WE RELEASED THE TROUT UNDER THE CLYDE BRIDGE.

BROWN TROUT FACTS ONCE A BROWN TROUT EGG HATCHES IT BECOMES AN ALEVIN. THE EGGS ARE LAID IN GRAVEL WHICH IS ALSO A REDD. YOU CAN GET EITHER A MATURE SEA TROUT OR BROWN TROUT.

ART WORK RIVER CLYDE OUR CLASS CONCENTRATED ON THE RIVER CLYDE AND FALLS. COLOURFUL FISH PATRYJIA HELP US DRAW AND COLOUR IN FISH FROM OUR IMAGINATION. WE USED OUR KNOWLEFGE OF FINS TO LABEL THEM. OUR POWERPOINT OUR CLASS DID POWERPOINTS ON LAPTOPS THEY WERE ABOUT CLYDE IN THE CLASSROOM. WE DELIVERED THEM TO THE WHOLE SCHOOL AT AN ASSEMBLY.

RIVER CLYDE THE RIVER CLYDE IS THE 3 RD BIGGEST RIVER IN SCOTLAND. IT STARTS AT THE MOUNTAINS AND HILLS AS A TINY TRICKLE AND GETS BIGGER AND BIGGER AS IT FLOWS WHICH IS CALLED A MEANDER.

WATERFALLS CORRA LINN IS THE HIGHEST WATERFALL ON THE RIVER CLYDE WITH A FALL OF 84 FEET WHICH IS 25M. THERE ARE 4 WATERFALLS ON THE RIVER CLYDE - BONNINGTON LINN, DUNNDAFF LINN, CORRA LINN AND STONEBYRES LINN. THE FALLS OF CLYDE MAKE A GOOD HABITAT FOR BADGERS, ROE DEER AND PEREGRINE FALCONS.

RECYCLE BE ECO FRIENDLY BECAUSE RUBBISH AND LITTER ARE GETTING PUT IN THE RIVER CLYDE AND WE WOULD VERY MUCH WANT IT TO STOP. TROUT AND OTHER CREATURES ARE GETTING HURT BADLY.

WORKING HARD P5 HAVE BEEN WORKING HARD FOR OUR PROJECT THIS YEAR.
