Job Description Help individuals and families: Develop independence. Protect their rights. Solve problems. Get along with others. Communicate. Manage resources. Financial issues are the most common source of problems within families and couple relationships.
Independent Living Skills Teamwork Independence Leadership Ethics– know and stand up for the right. Positive Attitude Critical Thinking & Problem Solving Communication School Skills– English, social studies, math, reading, etc. All students in each of the CTE career pathways learn core knowledge and skills that prepare them for independent living and the workforce, which increases personal and community well-being.

Consumer Economics Services Get the Facts: During the next ten years, more personal financial advisors will be needed to help millions of workers who are ready to retire. Jobs for financial advisors are projected to grow over 41% over the next 10 years. Consumer Economic Service jobs are in high demand. Consumer Economic Service jobs are nontraditional for males. Financial issues are the most common source of problems within families and couple relationships.
Family & Human Services Get the Facts: Family and Community Service employees hold about 2.2 million jobs. Social Service jobs are one of the fastest growing jobs, especially those that work with the elderly. Family & Human Service jobs are in high demand. Family & Human Service jobs are nontraditional for males. Studies have show that a harmonious marriage relationship promotes competence and maturity in the couple’s children. Other studies have demonstrated that marital conflict may result in cognitive delay, school difficulties, and antisocial or withdrawn behavior.
