Opportunities in Shale Gas and Tight Gas Driven by: Shortfall in domestic gas and supply easy offshore gas has been developed need to diversify gas supplies prospectivity

There are a range of opportunities to bid by work program for acreage both onshore and offshore Western Australia, in Commonwealth (Federal) and State jurisdictions. There are also opportunities to take up acreage for geothermal energy exploration.

Targets range in age: Palaeozoic and Mesozoic. Release area size ranges from 1331 sq km in the northern Perth Basin to over 6 000 sq km in the Canning Basin. Work program bids close 10 March 2011. Acreage release CDs are available from our booth at NAPE.
