Jesus’ Blood Provides Remission of Sins (1) Jesus’ Blood Provides Remission of Sins

Matt. 26:28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

Rev. 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-born of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us, and released us from our sins by His blood,

Rev 7:13,14 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?" 14 I said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Rom 5:9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

Isa. 6:3 And one called out to another and said, Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory.”

Heb. 9:22,23 And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. 23 Therefore it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be cleansed with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Provides Reconciliation (2) Jesus’ Blood Provides Reconciliation

Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Eph 2:12,13 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

(3) Jesus’ Blood Provides Redemption

Eph 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace

1Pet. 1:18,19 knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, {the blood} of Christ.

1Pet. 1:20 For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you.

Rom 6:1-3 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? 3 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?

Rom 6:4,5 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,

Rom 6:6,7 knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7 for he who has died is freed from sin.

The blood of Jesus provides the remission, reconciliation and redemption we need to share in His eternal glory.
