Night-Lights Introductory power-point

Why do children like to have and use a ‘night light’? What ‘emotional need’ does a night light satisfy?

What are the important design features of this night-light? What does CE mean?(complies with European safety standards) What materials do you think this night-light is made from? What power source do you think it uses?

What materials do you think this night light is made from? Why do you think the theme will appeal to children? What age group do you think this product aimed at?

How are these products different to the ones you saw before? Do you think they are more appealing? Why

These night lights are much simpler. One is from IKEA the other is a FAIR TRADE product. Which is which? How can you tell?

These are much more contemporary designs. What makes them look more up to date? Do you think this changes their appeal factor? What materials are they made from? Is this a problem? Why?

What do you think of these designs? Why are they appealing? Who are they aimed at?

C A B D F E H G There are 8 examples of night-lights (A-H) Choose 2 of the designs, copy and paste them onto an A4 word page.
