Stage Timetable Learning Information and Research Centre - LIARC Library has not yet been officially timetabled although children have already had their first library lesson. Library Bag Essential Children will have access to the LIARC every 2nd half lunch, except Fridays NAPLAN 9th May – 11th May SCRIPTURE Thursdays 10:30-11:10 SPORT – Fridays. Please ensure students wear their sports uniform and sports shoes. Quality Teaching, Quality Learning, Quality People - for the 21st Century Learner

General Procedures Money to the office Uniform Absence Notes Money is collected by the office and not given to the teacher. Children should put the money into the collection box in the front office before school. Money will not be collected on Fridays. Absence Notes Must go to the class teacher explaining the reason for the absence. Non-specific explanations will be recorded as ‘unexplained’. NB. The class roll is a legal document. Uniform Full school uniform to be worn daily – including a wide- brimmed hat and black shoes (except Fridays). If training for PSSA, can bring joggers to change into at lunchtime. No jewellery. Come to school prepared and ready to learn Bring items on requirements list and ensure they are labelled with your child’s name and class. Assembly is fortnightly on a Thursday in even weeks. Classes take turns in hosting and performing an item. Band Training Band rehearses on Mondays at 7:45am in the HALL (Ms Mowles) Tutorials on Thursdays at 8:00am or 8:30am Performing Band rehearses on Tuesdays at 7:45am in the HALL (Mr Jarick) Tutorials on Wednesdays at 8:00am or 8:30am

Homework – beginning Week 5 Year 3 75-150min per week (30mins per day max) Year 4 2- 3 hrs per week (36min per day max)) Reading Lexiles Bugs or Reading Eggs Own reading material Maths Open-ended task (fortnightly) Mathletics task (fortnightly) Project 1 per term (not including Term 1) May be related to History, Geography, Science Public Speaking Term 2 topics in preparation for Term 3 competition.
