Each essay will start “With reference to the information provided and your own knowledge” and so you should ensure that you use the case study as much as possible. You have a choice but they tend to be quite similar.

Main body: 4 points, one idea per paragraph; Make your point (K), explain it (AN), use examples (AP), include a diagram if relevant (K). Then (in a new paragraph) evaluate your point making it clear that you are doing this. You may state that your point may not hold because… or there may be different perspectives such as … etc. The final sentence in the paragraph must link back to the question. Conclusion: make a judgement based on the points you’ve made e.g. overall, are the effects good or bad? Can you criticise the evidence?
