General Information on Art . General Information on Art Metal Work and Literature were some of there greatest skills Most of the artwork made was based on Christian Ideas Only a few Anglo Saxon buildings remain Most of the remaining pieces consist of coins and pottery

Most of the metal was iron, bronze, silver, pewter, and gold Metal Work . Most of the metal was iron, bronze, silver, pewter, and gold However silver, pewter, and gold were mainly used for things such as jewelry Metal was polished with earwax because polishing wax was not yet invented Only the richest of the rich had solid metal objects everyone else’s metal was covered in flakes of the metal Metal Work took years of practice and once mastered one could make a big living in craft
