Crocodile Works Midland Heart in partnership with Urban Living, Birmingham City Council and the Homes and Communities Agency The development forms part of a wider plan to regenerate Newtown by creating affordable housing to support sustainable local communities. The scheme, designed by Glenn Howells Architects, provides a mix of 168 apartments and townhouses, for affordable rent, outright sale and rent-to-homebuy.

Catalyst Development Portobello Square – Creating a Sense of Place Phase One includes the building of 324 new homes, a mix of 174 for affordable rent and 150 homes for private sale. Work on Phase One started in 2012 and is scheduled for completion in May 2016.
