Theme African Safari Main Attraction – Safari Animals Lions, Zebras, and Cheetahs indoors Serengeti made outdoors Elephants, Crocodiles, and Giraffes outdoors Large picture windows 1st floor - Bar, front desk and animals 2nd floor - Restaurant and kitchen Hakuna Matata is an African Safari themed restaurant. Upon entering the building, customers will notice the main attraction, the safari animals. Outside the giant picture windows, a homemade Serengeti awaits to be admired. While waiting for tables to be ready, customers can venture out onto the balconies and enjoy the view.

Target Audience Family Atmoshpere Animals for the children High end restaurant and bar for adults Tourist attraction Due to the fun, childish nature of the safari theme, the target audience for Hakuna Matata is a family atmosphere. The interaction with the animals will appeal to the adolescent crowd. The high end restaurant, entertainment for the children, and impressive bar will appeal to the mature crowd. Since Hakuna Matata will be located in Florida, it will be more of a tourist attraction to visit.

Locations Florida Good climate for animals Tampa Miami The best locations for Hakuna Matata are in Florida. The best cities for this type of attraction are Tampa and Miami. Both allow for a large customer base due to the high amount of tourists. Also, the climate is the best for the animals we are housing.

Uniforms The uniforms will be a mixture of safari wear and animal print. Guys will wear a khaki shirt with cheetah print shorts and lace up boots. Girls will wear khaki dresses with a cheetah print vest and lace up boots.

Cheetah Level one is where the entrance to the restaurant is located. Behind the reception desk three large cages contain zebras, lions, and cheetahs. Each cage is specifically designed to suit each animal. To the left of the cages, a windowed wall allows the customer a view of the human engineered Serengeti. Upon the Serengeti roams elephants, crocodiles, and giraffes. Balconies allow customers to take a closer look. The bar is also located on the first floor and is decked out in the safari theme.

The second floor is where the restaurant is located The second floor is where the restaurant is located. Each table allows for a perfect view of the Serengeti. The kitchen is located in the back left corner of the restaurant floor across from the bathrooms.

Souvenir Photo with an animal Promotional Items Souvenir Lunch Box To make the Cub Meals appeal more to the younger customers, it will be served in a souvenir animal shaped lunch box. Also available for purchase are souvenir photos taken with the zoo animals. Finally, t-shirts will be for sale. Menu Elephant Burger - elephant sized hamburger patty with lettuce, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and the special safari sauce Safari Shake - chocolate or vanilla ice cream, milk, and your choice of fruit blended until creamy Zesty Zebra Pickles - pickles dipped in zesty batter and deep fried Croc Cakes - crocodile meat, bell peppers, mayo, and onions crushed into cakes and rolled in cracker crumbs Ape Salad - Every fruit imaginable chopped up and served in a waffle bowl The menu for Hakuna Matata dives deeper into the safari theme. Key items include: the elephant burger, the safari shake, zesty zebra pickles, croc cakes, and ape salad. The elephant burger includes an elephant sized hamburger patty with lettuce, pickles, onions, tomatoes, and the special safari sauce. The safari shake includes chocolate or vanilla ice cream, milk, and your choice of fruit blended until creamy. The zesty zebra pickles are pickles dipped in zesty batter and deep fried. Croc cakes include crocodile meat, bell peppers, mayo, and onions crushed into cakes and rolled in cracker crumbs. Finally, ape salad is a twist on fruit salad. It includes every fruit imaginable chopped up and served in a waffle bowl.
