National Honor Society October 04 Meeting 2017-2018

Rock-a-Thon is Saturday, November 4th Members must turn in absence forms and money beforehand if you know that you will not be able to attend.

ATTENDANCE If you miss a meeting you have 5 school days to submit and absence form. (October10th) Tutoring, homework, make up work are NOT valid excuses. After 2 unexcused absences you will receive a warning. After the 3rd your membership shall be terminated.

PROJECTS This months meeting donation is a new toy, between $7-$10 Novembers meeting donation is 5 canned food items These will NOT be collected at the meeting due to the weight of the cans You must complete one of these this semester

Current Opportunities This months meeting donation is a new toy, next months is 5 canned food items We are also collecting items for the Backpack Drive You need 5 items to count as one project The following items are needed: tuna, peanut butter, nuts, whole wheat crackers, granola bar, apples, dried fruit and whole grain cereal.

Current Opportunities Transitional Living Center of El Paso Deadline is November 2nd Items needed are: Womans or children clothing, diapers and wipes, hygiene items, underwear and socks, pillows, bath towels and linens(full/twin bed) Don’t forget to turn in forms!

Our current balance is a little over $2,200 Dues are $15; if you do not pay by today your dismissal process will begin Rock-a-Thon requires you to raise $40, more information will be given at the October meeting. Pizza will be served at all future meetings, except for elections at the end of the year.
