RDQ 15 Urban Implementation: Networking & Dialogue for Leaders of PBIS in Large Urban School Districts Discussion Leader: Steve Goodman, Michigan’s Integrated Behavior & Learning Support Initiative

RDQ 15 Urban Implementation: Networking & Dialogue for Leaders of PBIS in Large Urban School Districts There are unique considerations in the implementation of PBIS in large urban setting due to the complexity of the educational system and the challenges of the community. This round table discussion will focus on the common implementation issues in urban settings with an opportunity to learn from others. Guiding questions: How does your district provide implementation support from the central office to the school level? How do you align PBIS implementation with other key district/city initiatives? How do you address staff turn over? What have you found to help keep implementation of PBIS moving forward (at the District level, at the school level)? How have you worked to further develop more efficient data systems for decision making?
