Religious Sects in Jesus’ Time Put yourself in the Time of Jesus

Put yourself in the Time of Jesus Using a photo of yourself, dress it up in one of the sects of Jesus’ time. Be creative as to how you do this Picture portion (25 pts): Decide whether you are going to be a: High priest (Sadducee), Pharisee, Zealot, or Essenes Written portion (25 pts): Give yourself a new name, one that was more commonly used in Jesus’ time – check your book, bible or do an internet search. (4 pts) Explain your position – what do you do? How is your life affected by, dependent upon all the other religious sects (there is a total of four sects)? (16 pts) Are you happy in this role and living at this time? Or, if you could, would you rather be in the 21st century? Why? (5 pts) Your final work is in full color on a sheet of paper, cardboard, cardstock, wood or something similar. Your written portion (must be typed and include your name), goes on the back. Total Points: 50 Neatness, creativity, visual impact, and follows all directions
