Introduction System for quality assurance and improvement means controlling and monitoring of the Faculty activities through internal evaluation. For the needs of internal evaluation of quality system at the FSR, it is necessary to develop evaluation model which includes the following: defining and monitoring of quality indicators, implementation of evaluation procedures, making of self-evaluation study programme, making of self-evaluation of the FSR.

Organizational context of the mechanical engineering study In preparation PhD DOCTORAL STUDY SECOND CYCLE 2 YEARS 120 ECTS MASTER STUDY Master Structure and activities: Each year of study is divided into two semesters, with the following main structure: Year 1:Basic courses: math, physics and electronics. Basic computer science courses: programming languages, object oriented programming and human courses:Physical education, Communication skills. Year 2:Intermediate computer science courses, software - and hardware oriented, such as information systems design and database development, computer graphics, computer networks, Intermediate math, statistics, English language and business management for engineers Year 3: Specialization in particular areas culminating in the completion of a main project (small thesis) (3 elective courses). 3 YEARS 180 ECTS Bachelor FIRST CYCLE UNDERGRADUATE STUDY

Realization of the SER Who is responsible? Who will write? Who will read; comment; approve? Who will do the pre-assessment? How will staff members and students be involved? Alumni?

The Faculty Council shall appoint a team consisting of 5 members: Representatives of the faculty management Representatives of the teaching staff Team for SER Student representatives Representatives of the administrative staff

Who will read; comment; approve? Who will write? Team members, who elect the president of the team among themselves, write the SER. President of the team is responsible for organization of meetings The team usually meets once every two weeks. Who will read; comment; approve? SER is available to all members of the Faculty Council. SER is an internal document Who will do the pre-assessment? Faculty Management.

How will staff members and students be involved? Faculty and students are full members of the Faculty Council, they participate in all decisions and they are involved in the development of SER. Alumni? In progress is formation of the Association of Former Students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computing.

Instead of conclusion University of Mostar accepted common document: “Instructions for making of self-evaluation of the University of Mostar members”. The procedure of SER development is the same for all members of the University , and on all study programs it will be done by those instructions, as we showed in the example of the FSR – Mechanical Engineering Study.
