Seven Kings Student Council 2017-2018 Miss Hannabuss & Mr Russell

What is the student council? Student voice Members will discuss how to improve the school from a students point of view. They will be required to take ideas from their form and share in the committee. Whole school duties Role model within the school and year group Extra responsibility for behaviour for community.

What is the student council? Charity committee: Be in charge of the chosen charity Organise events to support the charity E.g. cake sales, fair, sporting events, any other great ideas!

Benefits of Student Councils An influential role in the school To develop your leadership skills Opportunity to make changes within the school from your point of view Well recognised and valued when applying for future positions such as: Head boy/ Head girl Universities/ collages Jobs

How many will be in the student council? From each form we will select 1 student Each you group will have 2 representatives who will meet with the other year groups Each student will receive a badge to indicate their role

How to apply/ deadlines You will need to submit your application on Firefly Deadline: Friday 6th October Please note- Any late applicants will not be considered Successful applicants will be announced in assembly GOOD LUCK!!!
