GBP ● The name of the organization is derived from the initial letters of the three Greek words for education, life, and friendship. ● It signifies that education and friendship constitute the basis of a full and happy life. ● The motto of Gamma Beta Phi is Progressus per Eruditioneum (Progress through education).
Members of GBP Members are full time LSU students Completed 12 hours of college credits Ranked in the top 15% of his/her class
How to Maintain Active Status 1 fundraising event per semester OR bring in $10 to a meeting before the end of the semester Complete 10 hours of community service Turn in a completed Points Sheet (with attached GBP Community Service Documentation forms) by the last meeting to Madeline Rathle
Requirements If you are active for 75% of your semesters enrolled as a member in Gamma Beta Phi then you be able to apply for your grad cords and letter of recommendation ● Special status: One semester guaranteed off and two will be reviewed by executive ● If you are on probation for more than 2 semesters then you will not be eligible for grad cords
