What do we expect? What if I choose not to do this? I will spend time at playtime or lunch break to catch up on my reading and learning. I might have to catch up on my reading and home learning after school on a Wednesday (home learning club) or during my lunch break so I don’t fall behind. If this happens on more than 3 different weeks, I will be given a reading support card for 2 weeks and see a Senior Teacher who will check that I am doing my reading each day. If I don’t start reading at home, my teacher will meet with my parents to talk about how to help me to do my reading at home so I don’t fall behind in learning. If I carry on not reading at home, the Purple Office Team will meet with me because Manor Field wants to make sure you make great progress in reading.
