Predators and Prey They don’t chew their food Crocodiles are carnivores which means they only eat meat. They eat fish, birds, wilder beasts and frogs. They can live for over a year without food. Big cats such as leopards, tigers and jaguars are their predators.
Lifestyle Most crocodiles live in fresh water but some live in saltwater. Crocodiles live in Asia, America and Africa. Most live in swamps. They have adapted to water.
Life Cycle Most crocodiles can live for 70-100 years The babies must find food when the mother gives birth to the young.
