Appearance- Body Crocodiles are green or brown. They have U shaped snouts. They are 13 feet (4m) long. (900 kilograms) 2,000 pounds They have short legs. Sharp teeth to eat pray.

Habitat- Where? They live in tropical regions such as Florida, Africa, Asia and the Americas they could also be found in Australia. You find them in lagoons and swamps.

Food They pull animals into the water to kill for the meat, such as buffalo pigs and deer. To help with digestion, they swallow small stones to crush up food in there stomachs

Lifecycle- Reproduction They have babies that hatch from eggs. Baby crocodiles are called egglings. Hatchlings are less then 1 pound (.5 kilograms )

Other Interesting Facts They have armer scales to pretect them from other animals. They can run fast. They have small arms. They have long tails. They can catch pray from low trees. There are 13 species of crocodiles of many sizes. Most crocodiles grow to be as long as a car! Crocodiles do not need to eat for two years. Crocodiles can hear their babies cry from in there eggs. Dwarf crocodiles are 13-15 pounds
