Acknowledge Part of Speech: Verb Definition: To admit the truth, existence, or reality of something To show you have received something Example: With a wave of his hands, the king acknowledged the cheering crowd.

Advocate Part of Speech: Verb; Noun Definition: To recommend; to write or speak in favor of a cause A person who argues for a cause Example: The senator advocated for increased funding in schools.
