Born in Chongqin, central China in 1982, Li Yundi is a world-famous pianist. At the age of 4, Li started to learn accordion [ə'kɔ:dɪən] (手风琴). Three years later, he showed an interest in playing the piano and has practised very hard since then. Later,he got to know Professor Dan, one of the most famous piano teachers in China and followed him to the Shenzhen Arts School. After his early success, he went on to study in Germany(德国).
