AN OPPORTUNITY FOR REFLECTION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR THE LEADERSHIP IN YOUR CONGREGATION! We continually welcome new leadership into the governance structures of our congregations and each time we are all changed. Ongoing and renewing Board Development keeps us relevant, engaged, and moving forward. The Ministry and Congregational Support Team of Edmonton Presbytery were asked to provide leadership for Board Development Workshops. We are pleased to announce that we are able to offer such workshops at no cost to our pastoral charges starting in the last week in February 2018 to the end of May 2018 (not including holiday weekends). We are so pleased that Rev. Dr. George Rodgers has agreed to lead these workshops. George is a retired ordained United Church Minister who served pastoral charges in Saskatchewan and Alberta and Northwest Conferences. His studies took him from St. Andrews Theological College, to Chicago Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from St. Stephen’s College. George served on the Senior Leadership Team for the United Church of Canada as the Executive Secretary for Alberta and Northwest Conference for nine years. George has a passion for leadership development and is a scholar of progressive theology. Phone: 780-438-6619 Email: presbytery.office@uccedm.org Questions?
