Inspiration Mount Nittany was the main inspiration Structure designed to be mountain-like Structure rises and peaks in different places like a mountain Unique geometries also included to stand out
Inspiration from other Architecture HUA, Hualien Residences in Hualien, Taiwan National Gallery of Art (idea) in Nuuk, Greenland
Site -Located in the lower left corner of the HUB Lawn (pointed northwest) -Relatively open and flat area, no major obstructions -surrounding buildings made mostly of brick
Exterior Ideas Exterior Balconies with direct view of the Hub Balconies provide ample seating for lunch or studying Stone exterior materials for mountain-like feel Lots of open spaces give open feel Curtain walls further enhance open feel to the design

Interior Ideas While exterior gives open feel, interior is designed to be cave like without interfering with the open feel. Cave-like feel enhanced by stone material Provides a safe and secure interior area for activity Interior space and seating provided for variety of school and social activities
