Mazumder Family Donation Many thanks to the Mazumder family for their generous donation which made it possible to grant the Art Department’s funding request. We were able to pay for a glass display case to showcase students’ art projects in the front lobby.

Financial Situation Strategic Goals for this year: No decrease in school’s programs despite decrease in starting balance (loss of revenue from last year’s lunch program) Implementing appropriate financial control Protect existing revenue streams Create new revenue streams while reducing expenses Soliciting donations

Teacher Funding Requests Able to grant 100% of all Requests received All Classroom and Instructional Item Requests fully funded Student Life Requests partially funded Coffee with the Counselor 8th Grade Calculators and Math books 8th Grade Female Staff Chaperone for DC Trip Aftercare and Exceptional Children Department Keep Calm Corner 3rd Grade Math Manipulatives

Fundraising Committee Mrs. Cuneo originally asked the PTO to consider fundraising for money $50,000 to $80,000 to buy a new Activity Bus. 2 Year Strategy Boosterthon Fun Run Parents’ Silent Auction Parent Survey to come about capital expenditures and facility improvements.

2017 – 2018 Executive Council All Exec Council members attend monthly Exec Council meetings to discuss expenditures, by-law revision proposals and other PTO decisions. All Event and Committee Chairs organize and delegate all publicity, set-up and clean-up for their specific events or projects.
