Science and Environment ROBOTS By Allen Chen and Chris Lim

The Mars Rover   A robot, from NASA, that roamed the planet of Mars to study what's on it Social ethical issues  Reliability The Rover may not work when it sets on Mars It may not function properly Control Rover may not work the way they want it to Security If there's life on Mars, there's nothing NASA can do to stop them from harming the Rover!

Cost and Benefits Costs Money Someone to make the Rover Someone to launch it onto Mars What if it doesn't work? What if there's nothing on Mars to study What if the Rover is interrupted by something in space Benefits Scientists can study Mars Creation of the Rover can lead to more breakthroughs Discoveries

Tree planting robot   This robot can be used to plant trees or plants in areas or in the future they could plant trees on Mars Social Ethincal Issues  Reliablity What if the robots dont plant it right.   Control Because this is an AI, you can't control it directly.

Cost and Benefits Money What if the robot doesnt perfom the task right. No human intuition so the robot may plant it somewhere bad. Plants trees helps the envoiment
