UST Rule Update 329 IAC 9 Rule Revisions New federal rules published July 2015 - 40 CFR, Part 280. Rule revisions are expected to directly incorporate many of the new federal provisions. Second Notice expected to publish late 2016. Indiana has three years (from effective date of federal rule) to finalize and seek State Program Approval (SPA) for new federal requirements.

UST Financial Responsibility Need to decide if you want access to ELTF or not Obtain an authorized financial instrument: $1,000,000 if not using ELTF (329 IAC 9-8) $15,000 or $30,000 if using ELTF (329 IAC 9-8-11) For either route, create your Certification of Financial Responsibility (COFR). Submit State Form 52884 with COFR to obtain your Certificate of Financial Assurance (COFA).
