Carline FAQ’s YOU CAN HELP EVERYONE: Pay attention to your driving, and maintain a 5 MPH speed. Pull all the way forward and close all gaps. Follow staff directions. Allow adequate time to drop off safely and not rush. Look out for children. Be drop off and pick up ready, with all materials in hand and ready to exit or enter the car. PLEASE DO NOT: Speed Stop where you want to, or cut off people who have been waiting before you. Text, smoke, or otherwise be distracted while driving through our school. Enter/ exit cars from the drivers side of the vehicle Middle grade and siblings use BLUE LOOP (WITH DASHES ON) All middle grades students with K5 siblings AM Drop off– 1.) Please enter the blue loop at the light or entrance near McDonald’s. 2.) Follow the blue loop lanes around field (two lanes to merge point). 3.) Pull all the way forward. 4.) Exit at light toward your destination. PM Pick Up– 1) Follow the blue lanes around field (two lanes to merge point). 2.) Display your blue name card with your car pool name. 3) We will call your car pool name over a loud speaker. 4.) Pull forward to the cafeteria closing all gaps. 5.) You may pass other motorists once you have your child. Other BLUE LOOP NOTES: Blue loop is the two lanes of traffic going in one direction, for stacking purposes, and may be used as two lanes all the way to the coned off merge point. At the merge point we ask motorists in the left lane of traffic to yield to motorists in the right lane. At the merge point we ask motorists in the right lane to give considerations to those in the left lane, and allow them to merge as needed. The only time the Blue loop will stack two lanes of traffic all the way is when inclement weather or a high volume of traffic is expected, example: first week or rain events. K5 uses RED LOOP ( WITH SOLID LINES ON MAP) All K5 students AM Drop off– 1) Enter elementary loop from Tom Stuart Causeway or the light. 2.) Pull all the way forward. 3.) Follow the painted lines toward the exit back to Tom Stuart Causeway. PM Pick Up– 1) Enter loop at light follow red loop signs. 2.) Red/ Elementary loop will lead to elementary car circle. 3.) Please display your red card with your car pool name. 4.) We will call your name over a loud speaker. 5.) Please pull all the way forward. 6.) You may pass motorists once you have your child. Walgreen’s, Chase Bank, and Storage facility are NOT school drop off and/ or pick-up locations. Publix is NOT school drop off and/ or pick-up location.
