English Language Fellow Program U.S. educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) participate in ten-month exchanges abroad at host country universities, ministries of education, and other educational institutions. English Language Fellows share their expertise and engage with the community, while participating in a professional development opportunity Available by request countrywide for teacher training workshops, seminars and conferences. English Access Microscholarship Program The English Access Microscholarship Program (Access) provides a foundation of English language skills to talented 13-20 year old youth from economically disadvantaged sectors through after school classes and intensive sessions. The program gives participants English skills that may lead to better jobs and educational prospects. English Language Specialist Program The English Language Specialist Program sends U.S. experts in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) to work on high-level, short-term projects that contribute to the host country's capacity to teach English. English Language Specialists support two-week to three-month projects at a variety of institutions and levels, mainly in the areas of teacher training, materials writing, and curriculum development. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) MOOCs help pre-intermediate to intermediate level learners improve their English skills in five major career fields. Each MOOC is five weeks in length, and each has a different facilitated course start date. MOOC topics include, English for Business and Entrepreneurship, English for Journalism, English for Career Development, English for Media Literacy and English for STEM Fields. E-Teacher Scholarship Program The American English E E-Teacher Program is an online, professional development suite for international English language teaching professionals. E-Teacher offers 8-week online courses developed by U.S. educational institutions, massive open online courses (MOOCs) based on the 8-week courses; webinars; and an online community of practice. Topics include critical thinking, teaching young learners, using technology and many other exciting and relevant courses. American English Webinars Six online seminars cover a variety of topics and are intended for teachers of English or future teachers of English. Participants who attend 4 out of the 6 webinars receive e-certificates. Participants are encouraged to join the associated website to participate in discussions, view or download video and other materials from the sessions, and access recordings of the webinars.
