Grade 10 Students are also completing requirements for the OSSD and French Immersion certificates Some students may be in grade 11 classes Your child is continuing to take several classes that are enriched Enrichment takes on two different aspects 1) Depth – Students go deeper into subject topics than they might in an Ontario course. 2) Acceleration – Subject material will come at a faster pace in IB classes Classes which are enriched in your child’s timetable will be marked with an “E” (English) or a “J” (French Immersion) These classes are meant to prepare them for the challenge of the IB Diploma classes in Grades 11 and 12
