Monday Tidy up all blog posts Make sure that each blog post has an introduction and summary of the task set. Reference all you sources of information using Harvard Referencing system (You can use: cite this for me. com site to help you generate referencing / auto style) You will work on self reflecting (weakly skills evaluation) blogpost. Remember this is not an ‘description’ of what you have done in the week but rather an evaluation of skills obtained and developed. Once you have completed everything you will work on an extension task.

Work covered so far: This is the work that you are expected to have on your blog: Week 1 was induction to the course Media Industries mind map Media industries overview with a case study of your chosen media company Introduction to Photography (Patterns, Shapes, Colours) Week 2: Application of photography assignment (choose 3-4 applications to talk about) Photography skills: Framing in photography Photography skills: Aperture and Shutter speed

Photography assignment Following from the last week today you need: Research work by two well known photographers and choose at least one image by each photographer to simulate / recreate yourself. One image needs to be portrait and the second photograph can be the subject such as: street, fashion, social landscape photograph. Introduce each photographer (provide some background information of his work) Explain why you have chosen the photograph/ s that you did. Give an analysis of the each image that you have chosen such as: what does the photograph communicate, comment on the composition, lens, shutter and F stop. Provide a plan of how are you going to take your images: location, time, who is going to be in it etc. Keep notes of all your trials photos. Don’t forget to reference your work.

For self reflecting (weakly skills evaluation) blogpost please answer the following questions for each week of the course. What was the task? Give an overview of the task each week What are the skills you have learned? Think of specific skills that you have learned each week. How effectively have you carried out the skillset, think about the strengths and weaknesses. Think of specific skills you have done well and areas that you need to improve, also think of how. How can you use those skills in the future projects? Think of where and how you can use those skills in the future. Give at least three examples of the skills being used in the industry.
