Educational Research Course 1) Own ideas + review of literature find out if someone done it, justification 2) Turn ideas into research questions questions, hypotheses, variables 3) Design the study - develop a strucure for the investigation The design is not linear, but a continuous learning process, improvement, and integration of new information/experiences Planning 4) Identify population and sample who and how many subjects 5) Design instruments – clarify operational definitions This is the research process, however, this is not a linear process.
