Time Plans & Costing

Learning Intentions & Success Criteria We are learning to Understand how to create time plans. Understand how to manage time in class. Understand how to cost recipes. I can Create a time plan for my Flan & poached pears. Understand how to break up time to fit in all tasks required. Cost all my ingredients together to get a total cost of both my recipes.

Costing Formula Cost of the ingredient / Quantity of packet * how much is in your recipe E.g. 1.20 / 2000 * 750 = 0.45 = 45p. 120/2000 = 0.06 0.06 x 750 = 45p

Layout Potatoes 1.20 2000 750 0.45 Tomatoes 1.00 325 100 0.307 = 0.31 Ingredient Cost (£) Quantity (g) Quantity Recipe (g) Price Potatoes 1.20 2000 750 0.45 Tomatoes 1.00 325 100 0.307 = 0.31

Costing Cost the ingredients for the recipe below Add them up and get the total for each dish.
