Took Time For The Individual Didn’t just speak to large audiences No one busier than Jesus Knew the value of soul – Matthew 16:26 Do we show same interest? Have time for sports, TV, computers, etc.

Made Opportunity from Ordinary Circumstances He stopped to rest May be fellow worker, student, neighbor May begin with simple question, “Where do you go to church?”

Started With Spiritual Goal John 4:7 – “Give me to drink” Led to speaking of “living water” Go from physical health to spiritual health From weather to God as Creator

Kept The Message Plain & Simple Spoke of things they knew of Birth (John 3); water (John 4); shepherd (John 10); vine (John 15); parables Wanted people to understand Began where the person was 1 Corinthians 9:19-22 Acts 17:1-3 cf. vs. 22-31
