Field Trip 1: FSU Youth Day Game Saturday, September 6 FSU vs. The Citadel Thanks Coach Vernon and Coach Pafford for being awesome chaperones!

Field Trip 2: FSU Career Fair Tuesday, October 7 9 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. AVID, Engineering, Medical, and STEM Registration Deadline: Friday, September 19 Students will need to dress professionally and bring a resume Students will meet with employers and STEM students Sponsored by the Florida IT Career Alliance Chaperones will be Mrs. Floyd Richardson, Mrs. House, Mrs. Sharin, and Mr. Wallace

Field Trip 3: AVID College Tour Thursday, October 16 – Sunday, October 19 Meet early to have luggage checked Leave by 6:00 a.m. AVID 2, 3, and 4 School dress code applies at all times Planned for off-weekend in football schedule to allow Varsity football players, cheerleaders, and band members to attend Conflicts with JV game Students will only miss one day of school

College Tour Educational Activities: Castillo de San Marcos National Monument Plaza de la Constitucion Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Museum & Tour St. Augustine’s Old City Video Game Design Lab and Computer Science Lab at Florida Polytechnic Flamenco Show and Dinner at The Columbia Florida Holocaust Museum Museum of Science and Industry: 3-D Printing The Future (all) and either Action Reaction Chemistry Lab or Vital Signs Dissection Lab

Potential College Tours We will schedule small day-trip tours throughout the year Tallahassee Community College University of North Florida University of Florida Gator Encounter (AVID Statewide Student Conference) FSU Tech Day or Spring Career Fair FSU Career Center
