The inaugural Collegiate Leadership Conference in 2015 was enhanced and expanded into the Emerging Fundraisers Academy The academy offers collaborative education, leadership training, networking opportunities, and a mentoring module for prospective and new fundraising professionals that will serve the growing needs of the philanthropic community. In the words of one student attending the 2015 conference, “This experience made me feel valued as a fundraising student and professional. There is nothing quite like that! I would not have been able to make this trip without financial assistance. I was so inspired by the conference. I truly feel that I was able to get a big picture view of things, and that is priceless.” The Emerging Fundraisers Conference is made possible through a generous grant from the Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation.

2016: Growth in Giving Initiative afpfep.org Research to identify and understand the many variables that affect philanthropic giving in the United States. Fundraising Effectiveness Survey Report  Fundraising Fitness Test Many of these variables are well known and understood but other variables that impact growth in giving requires an in-depth study, including the investment in fundraising and individual giving strategies. This research seeks to identify these variables in an effort to comprehend all that goes into making the United States charitable sector as successful as possible in obtaining the resources needed to fulfill its nonprofit mission.
