Production Media/Delivery/Deadline My project will involve producing concept art for in game graphics for a post apocalyptic zombie game in the future. The delivery will be in the form of posters, graffiti, faction propaganda and ironic comments on humanity through manipulation of urban landscapes. The deadline is the 24th of May

Production Mindmaps

Production Concept/Style/USP My concept is that in 2025 there has been an apocalypse which has resulted in the close to extermination of the human race. Zombies have over-run the urban landscapes, but no before street art. I aim to produce a series of street arts pieces and other forms in in-game graphics. The style will be urban, ironic and mildly political. My unique selling point: I know it’s been done before, but I want the humor and the significance of the prescience of this humor to be the main feature which makes my concept art successful.

How has my research affected my work.. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MDWY8R5 So I’ve got some responses. It seems like if I wanted to conjure up concept art of an apocalyptic theme, I’d have to first think of what caused the apocalypse, and in turn this would give my style of designs a direction and focus.. I tried to re-visit survey monkey so I could take the image of the results put in chart form, but it’s now saying I’ve had no responses, when I know I did… Hmmmm, I suppose I’ll just have to explain that most people leant towards the opposite aspects of a zombie apocalypse, for instance street art and human activity. To avoid the cliché!

Production Audience My project audience is PG, which means that I will have to use language and things such as blood in an appropriate manner. Which is a shame, really. But hey ho, I don’t make the rules. If I did we’d all have ice cream on Fridays. #Loveseyforpresident.

Production Equipment/Techniques The equipment used will be the adobe editing programs, such as illustrator and Photoshop. I will also use a camera to capture some features of an urban landscape, which I will then edit over in Photoshop.

Production Resources/Budget Resources provided by college. Resources needed; computer programmes, urban landscape (provided by humanity lol) and maybe some spray cans, which I will purchase online.

Production Collaboration I don’t think I will really be collaborating with anyone or anything for this project, as most of the work is based on transferring my ideas in a graphical way.

Production Constraints My only real constraint is the time provided to finish this project, as my process of idea development is rather slow, and is still unfinished (I know roughly want I want to do for my final project, but I don’t have a concrete idea just yet). Apart from that I can’t see myself running into too many problems for this project.
