Revision Make sure you have all your equipment (excluding calculator for non calculator questions) before starting your revision. Practice makes Permanent – use revision guides, Flashcards, mymaths, mathswatch, past papers, bitesize, etc to ensure you have plenty of exam type questions to work through. Identify your weaknesses – do not waste time focusing on topics you are able to understand and answer questions on already. What are your weaknesses? Focus on them Little and often – do not revise for prolonged periods of time without a break, after half an hour make a cup of tea, walk around for 5 minutes. Come back and start a new topic. Work on your own to focus your concentration without any distractions Work in small groups with other students that you work well with, so you can learn from each other while revising.

Topics NUMBER ALGEBRA RATIO, PROPORTION AND RATES OF CHANGE GEOMETRY AND MEASURES PROBABILITY STATISTICS

The papers Paper 1 – Non calculator (90 mins) total of 80 marks Paper 2 – Calculator (90 mins) total of 80 marks Paper 3 – Calculator (90 mins) total of 80 marks Content from any part of the curriculum can be included on any of the papers. A mix of question styles, from short, single-mark questions to multi- step problems are included in all three papers. The mathematical demand increases as a student progresses through the paper in all three papers.
