What We Believe Annual Title 1 Meeting 17-18

Knik Elementary School Mission Our mission is to partner with families to nurture, educate, and inspire life-long learners.

Knik Elementary School Vision We envision a school where all students are motivated and inspired by their own progress, and growth is celebrated at all levels. Share with a colleague an example you’ve seen of us achieving this vision statement this year. Give a non-example-where we have fallen short.

Knik Elementary School Beliefs We believe all students want to be successful. We believe we improve student achievement by improving instruction; we improve instruction by improving collaboration. We believe it takes a team to teach each child. We believe children thrive when expectations are high and self-confidence is higher. We believe all students have special gifts and talents that allow them to learn. We believe in using data to drive our decisions, but we know students are more than just test scores. We believe in fostering social, emotional, and physical well-being for all students. We believe all children benefit from developmentally appropriate materials, practices, and strategies. We believe education is a partnership of educators, students, parents, and the community.
