Who is Guido and what’s so special about his hands?

Guido D’Arezzo was a Benedictine monk who was born around 991/992 and lived until after 1033. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guido_of_Arezzo

Guido invented modern music notation using his hand! Guido's hand
