BRC1E61 – Energy Saving Function Two energy saving functions available Set Temperature Auto Reset This function will revert the set temperature back to the programmed temperature after a certain time defined by the user Set Temperature Range Limit This function allows setting a temperature range per mode

BRC1E61 Operations Menu

Access to Energy Saving Function Press the menu button for 5 seconds until the function “Energy Saving Settings” is displayed Select the function “Energy Saving Settings” and press Enter

Energy Saving Setting In the Energy Saving Setting menu, there are 2 options to choose from: Set Temperature Auto Reset Set Temperature Range Limit Use the up/down key to select the desired option and press Enter

Set Temperature Auto Reset Highlight the “Set Temperature Auto Reset” using the down arrow button and press menu/enter button The screen shown here will appear with 3 options Enable / Disable Setting (turns the function on/off without deleting settings Condition Setting (Cool) Condition Setting (Heat) Select the desired mode by pressing Enter

Set Temperature Auto Reset To change the temperature to the desired level, use the up/down buttons The set temperature can be set in 1 Deg C increments. Once selected, the time delay can then be set using the ‘Right’ button To change the time delay, use the up/down buttons. It’s possible to programme a time range between 30mins to 120mins To confirm the settings, press Enter You will then access the confirmation screen, select Yes to confirm

2. Set Temperature Range Limit Function In the Energy Saving Setting menu, select the Set Temperature Range Limit To select use the up/down keys and press Enter

2. Set Temperature Range Limit Function You will then access the screen shown here. Select the ‘Condition Setting (Cool)’ and press Enter The following screen will then be displayed

Set Temperature Range Limit Function To change the lower limit temperature, use the up/down keys To access the upper limit temperature, use the ‘Right’ button Once both lower and upper limits have been set, press the Enter button. The following confirmation screen will then be displayed Select Yes to confirm settings and press Enter. Once completed, you will return to the main menu

Functions and Applications Set temperature auto reset function Used to provide boost to cooling / heating for limited periods. Useful for both domestic and commercial applications Set temperature range limit function Prevent extreme set points in commercial applications including office, nursing homes, schools etc Useful for small VRV installations, excludes the need for I Touch controller to enable this function
