Before technology stormed, information was spread through word of mouth, leading to it getting distorted and corrupted over time. News could also be easier to fake, as newspapers could lie and people couldn’t check around to find out more information because the technology simply didn’t exist, now it’s completely different, we are now bombarded with all the information we can, because nearly everyone has a device which can access the world and information around us, so yes, due to it’s portability and It’s common place in society, digital media has eased access to information.
