Cookie Dough Fundraiser If your student received any orders for the cookie dough fundraiser, the items will be available for pick-up in the chorus room on Thursday (December 14) from 3 o’clock – 6 o’clock PM. Please pick up these items promptly as they ought not go too long without refrigeration.

Community Sponsorships The band is about to have access to an official 501(c)(3) account! We are still trying to offset the cost of the percussion trip (more on that later) and the winter guard season to make these experiences possible for our kids. Winter Guard Our award-winning winter guard is getting their season started. There will be lots of opportunities to see them perform in Central Florida this spring, so check out www.UHSband.com to see some of them. Please consider coming to one or more of their shows to support them! We will have a bus available for at least one or two of the shows (TBA). Also, we do need to raise about $4000 for the winter guard to keep the students’ fees reasonable, so again if your business does any kind of partnerships we are really trying to make something happen!

Music for All Trip We had originally estimated the price at $860/person. We actually have fewer people going than anticipated, which brought the price up to $894/person. Thanks to a generous donation by our principal, Dr. Carcara, and some fundraising done by the band as a whole, the price is now down to $600/person. Now, each attendee does actually need to pay this. As of December, $450 has come due. The remaining payment will be $150 but may come down depending on fundraising activity and corporate sponsorships.
