Philosophy Philosophy: The philosophy of the Tates Creek High School community is to promote international understanding, to educate the whole person emphasizing intellectual, personal, emotional, and social growth, and to develop inquiry and thinking skills with the capacity to reflect upon and evaluate actions critically so the student will appreciate the universal value of human diversity and its legitimate boundaries, while at the same time understanding the common humanity that we all share. The students who satisfy the demands of the International Baccalaureate programme demonstrate a strong commitment to education, both in terms of the mastery of subject content and in the development of wide ranging skills, creating a commitment to lifelong learning.

Mission Statement The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
