H – Help Your Chapters & State Councils Support Recertification SHRM Recertification Support Payments SHRM Chapters and State Councils in good standing will be eligible for enhanced financial support based on the number of SHRM members who recertify between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 Chapters in good standing will receive $20 per each chapter member who is a SHRM member in good standing, primarily coded to the chapter, and recertifies for SHRM Certification during 2017 State Councils will receive $10 per each SHRM member in good standing (in-chapter and at-large) in the state who recertifies for SHRM Certification during 2017 Payment will be made to affiliates in good standing in early 2018 based on the number of recertified members meeting the above criteria as of December 31, 2017 This program will continue in 2018!

Provider Verification Process CONTENT RECORD-KEEPING QUALITY Evaluation should include feedback on course content, facilitator, and overall experience of program Ensure speaker has SME Ability to facilitate learning # of PDCs awarded Complete course outline Agenda includes scheduled breaks Program Details Presenter’s Bio Feedback/Evaluation Documentation Must retain program records/documentation for a minimum of 3 years. Give out certificates of completion

Helpful Tips Minimum 1 hour allocated for each program = 1 PDC Distribute Activity ID after program completion Use CONSOLAS font type when distributing Activity IDs Distinguishes letter “O” and numeral 0, “I” and 1 , “S” and 5, etc. PDCs - 15 minute increments after 1 hour (e.g. 1.25, 1.5, 1.75) PDCs are not calculated for time spent during breaks, meals, networking, welcome, instruction, exhibit hall, etc. Keep program documentation for at least 3 years
