Black Figure Pottery 620 - 480 BCE

Red Figure Pottery 530 – 380 BCE

Project Requirements: Must create a vase inspired by Ancient Greek pottery Must use a minimum of 2 human figures that depict some kind of “gesture” (action). Create a visual story Optional: draw other objects to help tell your visual story You will use a new technique (marker transfer) to transfer the drawing from paper onto the clay surface

Homework due Monday, March 2nd: Find FOUR photographs of people that show some kind of gesture/action. You may find these online or from magazines or actual photos Make sure these are PHOTOGRAPHS and not drawings or cartoons These will be direct references for your drawings
