By The Golden Mile Group

Introduction The golden mile, is a fun, physical, energetic activity encouraging people to run 50 miles by July 18th. Once you’ve reached 50 miles you’ll then be able to go for your 100 miles. If you don’t achieve one of the awards your amount of miles ran will be continued for the next school year. It is accessible for all ages and abilities.

Our Opinions Rachel Wade: The golden mile is fun and makes me fit. Matthew Brown: Makes me feel fit as I know every day I have achieved a mile. Joshua Morton: I love the Golden Mile because I’ve got my 50 miles and I want to achieve my 100 miles by the end of Year 6. Sam Sharp: I think its really hard work but I always try my best. Amy Lambert: I like the Golden mile because it is a easy way to keep you healthy, it also encourages you to compete against yourself not just other people!

Our Opinions Ryan Dorgan: I really like it because it keeps me fit. Libby Evans: I like it because it’s a fun way of keeping fit. Miss Dawson: I love watching children do the Golden Mile because I do mine first thing in the morning. Mr Aird: Its not just good for P.E it can be linked in with other subject such as Maths and Science.

Our Opinions Emily Morris: I like the Golden Mile because it’s a good way to exercise and keep fit. Holly Davenport: I think the Golden Mile is quite enjoyable and a good way to keep healthy. Kira Daglish: It’s really enjoyable and a good way of achieving skills. Matthew Wade: I think it helps you to get fit and a good way to wake you up for school.
