BIRTH CONTROL PILL Also known as oral contraceptives, the pill is a hormonal mix of estrogen and other hormones. If taken correctly every day, 8 out of 100 women will get pregnant each year….It is moderately affective

PATCH The patch is a thin cloth thing that attaches to the skin and releases estrogen and progesterone. It prevents the egg from being fertilized. 8 out of 100 women who use the patch will get pregnant making it moderately effective.

PELVIC INFLAMMATORY DISEASE Caused by sexual contact without protection, causing the uterus to be lined with the disease. It is known to be very painful and difficult to deal with.

PUBIC LICE Live in the pubic hair areas. Spread though sexual contact. Can be contracted from contact with an infected person, on toilet seats, blankets, and on bathing suits being sold at a store, for example. It can be asymptomatic.

TRICHOMONIASIS Worldwide parasite inside the sexual organs. Symptoms for women include discomfort with intercourse, itching between thighs, and, for men, burning after urination and ejaculation.
