Nine Week Classes INTRODUCTORY LANGUAGE (SPANISH) MUSIC EXPLORATORY This course is an introduction to Spanish language and culture. This course is intended as a link between the elementary Spanish programs or as an initial introduction to the language. This course is not included in the Spanish curriculum series for high school credit. In some situations this course is included on a “wheel” scheduling option. MUSIC EXPLORATORY Students are introduced to the skills necessary for singing and playing music with accuracy and expression while interpreting the sound and symbols of music. Through the study of various genres and cultures students will analyze, evaluate and understand the music and concepts from other areas.

More Nine-Week Classes VISUAL ARTS EXPLORATORY This course introduces students to the elements of art through a variety of media that may include: drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, pottery, and weaving. Application of these elements to the students’ own original art work is the major emphasis while being introduced to art history and critical analysis of master work as well as their own.   INTRODUCTION TO DANCE This course introduces creative movement, improvisation, and choreography through basic modern dance techniques

We are excited you are a future Bulldog! Counselors will be visiting the elementary schools in the near future. Students and parents will be able to pick up the schedules for 2016-17 on a date to be determined. At that time you may purchase PE uniforms, “walk” your schedule, put money in your lunch account and put a face to your teachers’ name. If you are unable to attend, that’s okay. However, we will not be handing out schedules early.

Welcome to Middle School !
